happy friday!

we are so glad it's the weekend! what are your plans?
we will be:

catching up on sleep
finishing up our costumes and showing them off at a party
catching up with a visiting friend
cleaning the apartment then starting a new crafting project and messing it up all over again!

friday is almost here! it has been one long week and we can not wait for two whole days off. i'm sure everyone will be busy celebrating halloween but wouldn't you love to also go to a party that looks like this?

fifi forever

i've been following fifi lapin's blog for a couple of years now and even have the print above hanging in my apartment. so you can imagine how excited i was this past weekend to see this shirt at forever 21's heritage store, so excited that i may have bought it right then and there.

how beautiful is this handmade postcard by poala zakimi?? her work with watercolors is so delicate and inspiring. her postcards are the newest addition to her original line of hand-painted paper goods. we think anyone would be delighted to receive one in the mail.

we love this guy de jean can can pink umbrella from online shop raindrops, and so does everyone else, it's already sold out!

we found a line of accessories called temporary secretary from the uk..they hand make these precious, miniature desserts and create fun, and delicious looking accessories with them! we have a friend who loves to bake, so we just ordered one of these for her birthday...yum. ;)

good morning world!! we loved "where the wild things are"!! it did not disappoint..it is so beautiful, and such an inspiring story..we are very impressed with their take on the book. we definitely recommend seeing it this weekend if you have a chance! if you're planning on staying in instead and fancy a little online shopping therapy may we suggest signing up for shop it to me, a great site that lets you choose your favorite brands and stores, then they find the sales for you, and send them to you in an email!! the best part is it's FREE!! :) enjoy folks.

born to be wild

happy friday everyone!! we have been waiting on the edge of our seats for the opening of "where the wild things are"...and the day has finally come!! :) like many of you i'm sure, we grew up with this story as one of our favorites. and though sometimes, we're not so thrilled to see a book turn into a movie, (we all know the book is usually better!) we have high hopes for this one.. the imagery and music in this movie are to die for from what we've seen in the trailer. we can't wait 'til show time tonight!! and don't worry, we will definitely let you know tomorrow how it was!

fall is finally here

Fall is our favorite season. The colors, the fabrics, the layers! Now that it is getting colder here in LA (it finally rained yesterday!) We would love one of these scarves.

how sweet it is..

this dress from roar clothing is so adorable we couldn't resist sharing it with all of you! even though summer is over, we think you could still rock this dress for fall. We would add some opaque tights, black ankle booties, and a cropped leather jacket! Still sweet with a touch of sour. ;)

time flies

We just looked at our last post and can't believe that it was so long ago! It seems like just the other day we were talking about starting this little blog back up and now months later we are finally determined to do it.
