this is what creativity looks like.

we have been working on a very special project over the past few months. it's almost ready for its debut but before that happens a lot of last minute work needs to be done. this is my living room after we were finished working last weekend. it was a huge mess, but we had fun making it.

we heart you

so, i was on getty images searching for heart photos for my sis's wedding program, and i found so many cute ones that i figured i'd share a few with you guys.. :) thanks to all of you who read our blog, we do heart you! 

spring forward

we took advantage of the extra hour of daylight we gained and the warm weather and spent the day at the santa monica pier over the weekend. we also used poladroid (which we know everyone has already been using forever) to make our photos look old and vintage and so much better than before. 

sometimes you feel like a nut

most of our favorite things are inspired by nature and animals. (little forest creatures in particular). we found this adorable squirrel watch necklace from a line called vivi dot. we both agree that it is a great alternative to the traditional wristwatch, especially because there are quite a few people who do not care much for wrist accessories, and that squirrel eating that acorn is too cute!

for those of you that don't know, there is a woman named cassie, from massachusetts, who designs a line of jewelry called clementine. her motto is "color your world". she is the creator of these beautiful and delicate earrings seen here. her line is pretty and feminine, but with a slightly urban feel. she's also a fellow blogger! check her out!!

we're sure many of you have seen the tribute to iconic women in glamour magazine this month.. we think it was an awesome idea and especially love alexis bledel as rosie the riveter. it inspires us to keep working hard toward our dreams like so many women did before us.

friday is here finally! is anyone doing anything fun? our weekend will include:

working (thankfully saturday only)

crafting (on a secret little project, more info to come later ) 

relaxing...and maybe some shopping, baking, exploring and seeing friends...weekends are way too short!

our friend was engaged recently and this is one of her beautiful engagement photos. we love the idea of doing creative shots like this one as opposed to the traditional couple shot. it's more like a work of art.  

inspired

since we both have creative jobs and creative side jobs sometimes it gets hard to feel inspired. even though we are both so happy to have to jobs we have we think these images via ffffound would be so great (and fun) to have hanging in our work spaces. 

clearly, i'm obsessed

i can't get enough of the dresses j. crew is offering right now. the color is so amazing...this chartreuse shade of green makes me feel giddy inside. :)
